The AIRIX Journal of Digital Scholarship and Innovation (AJDSI) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Airix Institute for Digital Scholarship, Lagos, Nigeria. AJDSI supports the full scholarly publishing lifecycle — from manuscript submission and double-blind peer review through copyediting, production, and issue publication.

Focus and Scope

AJDSI publishes original research, systematic reviews, perspectives, and case studies across:

Open Access Policy

AJDSI provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Articles are published under a Creative Commons licence, with full terms indicated on each article.

Peer Review

All submissions to AJDSI undergo double-blind peer review. Manuscripts are first assessed by an editor for fit with the journal's aims and scope, then sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Editorial decisions are based on originality, methodological rigour, and contribution to the field.

Copyright Notice

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed for others to share with acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

AJDSI is published by the Airix Institute for Digital Scholarship, Lagos, Nigeria, as part of its mission to advance digital research capacity and scholarly publishing infrastructure across the region.

Journal History

AJDSI was established in 2025 under the founding editorial leadership of Professor Emeritus Hendrix Nwaokolo, with a mandate for interdisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed publication of digital scholarship that translates research innovation into real-world outcomes.
